Politech: Decoding US Presidential Elections
(Spring 2022)
  • Collaborated with Professor Klaus Mueller at Stony Brook University, leveraging Akaikeru Analysis software to construct robust data pipelines for the analysis of US presidential elections.
  • Mined patterns and correlations between voter behavior, demographics, and socio-economic factors to uncover valuable insights, contributing to ongoing research aimed at quantifying the complex dynamics behind voter preferences.
  • Technologies: Python, Akaikeru Analysis(software)
Disease Detection with Explainable AI
(Spring 2022)
  • Built a Covid-19 disease prediction system, using chest x-ray images as input.
  • Predictions had a precision and recall score of 0.89 each. Employed Explainable Artificial Intelligence using the Local Interpretable Model-agnostic Explanations (LIME), that produces a heatmap output, for easier interpretation of result and increased trustworthiness of the system.
  • Technologies: Python, Tensorflow, Neural networks , Libraries - GradCAM, Pandas, Numpy
PAATHSHALA
(Winter 2021)
  • Developed a web application delivering a seamless and reliable online learning experience for students and educators alike. Empowered teachers to create assignments, quizzes, upload lectures, and make announcements, while providing students with a centralized platform to access and respond to their course materials.
  • The application was rigorously tested to handle high volumes of traffic of up to 10,000 users at a time.

Leadership

During my academic journey, I actively engaged in community service, and my involvement in service clubs has been a source of immense personal growth and fulfillment. In 2018, I served as a general body member in the Leo Club of Mumbai Ghatkopar. This experience provided me with opportunities to organize diverse events such as chess competitions, food distributions, charity events, and more. These events, which were also fundraisers, contributed to a noble cause in the subsequent terms.

Building on this, in 2019, I became a general body member of the Rotaract Club of Mumbai Ghatkopar (RCMG). As my commitment and enthusiasm became evident, I was appointed as the Sports Director in July 2019. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I leveraged virtual platforms to keep the community engaged. I organized online yoga events, sports challenges, and even a talk series called RCMGx Talks, featuring renowned professionals discussing the impact of the pandemic on education, healthcare, and mental health.

In 2020, I took on the role of Public Relations Officer for People United for Student's Help, an organization on my college campus. As a PRO, I played a crucial role in outreach, fundraising, and facilitating communications among board members. The organization's focus on providing scholarships to students in need resonated with my values, and I actively contributed to the scholarship process, including identifying deserving students and maintaining communication with both applicants and previous recipients.

These experiences have not only allowed me to contribute meaningfully to various causes but have also honed my organizational and leadership skills. I believe that the diverse challenges I navigated during my time in these clubs have equipped me with adaptability and resilience, qualities I'm eager to bring to any professional setting.
