NeatLeet is a Chrome extension that helps you study LeetCode problems and optionally save a personal list of problems to review. We keep data collection to the minimum required to provide these features.
Data we collect
- Google account email & UID (via Google Sign-In) — used only to create your account and associate your review list to you.
- Your review list — the LeetCode problem slugs you add/remove.
We do not collect browsing history, keystrokes, or unrelated page content.
How we use your data
- Authenticate you and show your personal review list.
- Store your list so it’s available next time you open the extension.
Where data is stored
We use Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to securely store your account (UID & email) and your review list.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Service providers (Google Firebase/Google Identity) process data strictly to provide the extension’s functionality.
Permissions we request in Chrome
- identity – to let you sign in with Google.
- storage – to keep lightweight session state in the browser.
- webNavigation / host permissions (leetcode.com, googleapis.com) – to show the popup on LeetCode pages and call APIs required for features.
Your choices
- You can remove problems from your review list at any time.
- You can sign out to stop future association with your account.
- To delete your account data (email/UID + review list), email us and we’ll remove it from Firestore.
Children’s privacy
NeatLeet is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. We’ll update the “Effective” date above and publish the latest version at this URL.
